The Mixing Bowl Incubation Program

Allow your food business to grow within a facility that has broad and comprehensive support for your food business and its dynamic and changing needs.

Program Description

The South Valley Economic Development Center is home to the Mixing Bowl Kitchen. Being one of the largest commercial kitchens in the country, we take pride in our strong incubation programs for entrepreneurs who are in the food industry.

The Mixing Bowl allows clients use of commercial kitchen equipment at an affordable price and in a healthy and positive environment. All your food production needs can be met at the Mixing Bowl. We can also help you distribute your food product(s) to the appropriate sales channels and help you expand your product outreach. Co-packaging is also a service that SVEDC will begin offering to our clients fall 2019.

In addition to the kitchen, a food consultant is available full time to help clients with their regulation, operations and strategy needs. We have internal sales channels so that your product is immediately in a shelf space in Albuquerque.

Food trucks can use the Mixing Bowl kitchen as commissary space. Elimination of oil, overnight parking, cooking, and general commissary requirements are  satisfied here at the Mixing Bowl.
